Register now for TPDW Rounds 3 & 4!

Hey everyone … In 2011, ICD offered Rounds 1 and 2 of its four-part Targeted Professional Development Workshops series.

Now, details have been finalized for us to offer Rounds 3 and 4 this year.

TPDW Round 3 (Vendors, Negotiating, Contracts, Payment, Participation, Scheduling) will be held March 6-7 at the USW/Goodyear-Fayetteville Career Development Learning Center. Hotel accommodations have been made at the Hampton Inn Fayetteville – Cross Creek Mall with a room rate of $94 per night – just ask for the ICD/Goodyear rate. Fayetteville is a drive of approximately 90 minutes from Raleigh-Durham Airport.

TPDW Round 4 (Learning Theory, Methods of Instruction, Course Content, Feedback, Evaluation) is scheduled for April 17 and 18 at the USW Local 9121 union hall in LaPlace, LA. The hotel for that round of training is the Best Western LaPlace Inn. Room rate is $79.99 per night with the ICD room rate. LaPlace is located approximately 30 miles from downtown New Orleans and 20 miles from the main airport.

Each round of training is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on the first day and conclude by noon on the second day. Lunch will be provided BOTH days of training in Fayetteville and on the first day of training in LaPlace.

A special note regarding Round 3 in Fayetteville: The Fayetteville Local Joint Committee is offering an optional plant tour upon the conclusion of training on the second day. Prior registration with ICD is required.
